Reports indicate that Apple devices are soon going to outsell Window devices for the first time. Another recent article speculated that, with the rise of mobile devices, whether Microsoft would become irrelevant by 2015. What made this happen? With Steve Ballmer's famous laughing response at Apple's initial iPhone release, perhaps arrogance? While I've never really been a huge fan of Microsoft, especially with the annoyances of Windows all the way up through Windows 7 like its inability to allow a user to move files in Windows Explorer while they are open or its failure to show all file types in save dialogue boxes without nonsensically changing the save as file type to name only a couple major complaints, it has made some recent innovations with its mobile OS -- it just currently looks like these changes were a little too late.
