ITC judge finds Samsung guilty of infringing on Apple’s text selection patent

The International Trade Commission judge has found Samsung guilty of infringing on Apple's text selection patent which could eventually end in a decision to ban infringing Samsung products from being sold in the US. Of course, this is only a preliminary decision and, as we saw in Apple's previous victory against Samsung where Apple was awarded $1 billion in damages only to have that amount cut in half later, decisions can quickly change in these ongoing court battles, but this is yet another confirmation that Samsung copied Apple's intellectual property in their quest for mobile domination. We'll stay tuned and report the next round in this unbelievably long, protracted battle royale.
